Tentendo - The Workers Club
Tentendo has a diverse background in his music and production life, studying bass guitar and music performance, before a wrist injury turned his attention to production recently when he was unable to play. Shifting his energy to production he found interest and influence in a range of artists, citing Taylor Mcferrin, Flying Lotus, J Dilla and the Roots as his musical inspiration.
His production took a positive turn over the past year as he joined forces with rising Melbourne act Billy Davis (for who he plays bass and produces), who have seen recent support from the likes of BBC1, Okayplayer, and High Snobiety, while sharing the stage with the likes of FKJ, Pomo and Joe Kay. From there, he has gone on to produce for several other artists in the growing Billy Davis camp, Blasko and Jordan Dennis, while also launching his own solo career. As part of this nurturing Melbourne collective, expect to hear lots more from Tentendo.
