DON HILLMAN's SECRET BEACH - Royal Oak Hotel
From early days busking and playing on the Melbourne folk circuit, Don found his passion for songwriting and formed his first band. Don cites Bob Dylan and Van Morrison as major early influences, and also Richard Clapton.

Don writes songs about travelling and living in Australia ... surfing and spending time on the coast ... the wilderness bush ... the wonderful outback ... Reviews have drawn favourable comparisons with Australian artists, Colin Hay and Paul Kelly. For his new album, Driftwood Smoke,
Don worked with talented producer / musician, Marcel Yammouni, who also played bass and guitar. Other musicians on the album include Davey Porter ( drums ), Garrett Costigan ( pedal steel guitar ) and Bruce Haymes ( keyboards ).
